Subhash Sharma received his masters degree in Civil Engineering in 1983. Subhash was hired in 1983 as an assistant estimator. Subhash quickly learned the earthmoving business and was named Chief Estimator in 1986. Subhash continued in that capacity until 1990 when he and Tom Mogan established Sharma General Engineering Contractors. Since then Subhash has molded Sharma General Engineering Contractors into a viable, financially sound competitive contractor. Subhash's management skill and expertise has given Sharma Contractors the financial footing to grow and remain competitive and at the cutting edge in the industry. Tom Mogan started in the earthmoving and heavy equipment industry in 1973. Tom began as a field laborer and heavy equipment operator. By taking night school courses in construction management and technology he was able to join the estimating staff of a well-established earthmoving contractor in 1975. Soon he was promoted to the position of Chief Estimator and Project Manager. He continued with his education and by 1983 was named Vice President and General Manager of that firm. In 1990 Tom and Subhash established Sharma General Engineering Contractors. The company grew rapidly and by 1995 the company had grown to a point where Tom's full-time presence was required. Tom's years of experience, knowledge of the field and ability to find and retain the best key personnel in the business, has helped Sharma's rise to the top of the earthmoving industry. |
Dennis Mogan has over 30 years of practical knowledge in the earthmoving and heavy equipment industry. Dennis began his career as a heavy equipment operator and lowbed driver. He worked in this capacity until 1978 when he became a project foreman and equipment repair/maintenance supervisor. In 1983 Dennis was named General Superintendent of the firm. He continued in that capacity until 1998 when he joined Subhash and Tom. Dennis coordinates field operations and manages the heavy equipment division for the company. Dennis' experience, knowledge of heavy equipment it's maintenance and repair, has allowed Sharma Contractors to own and operate over 60 pieces of heavy equipment. |
